MarketingDoOver Contest Details

Once the contest period for MarketingDoOver.com is over, two (2) Grand Prize winners will be chosen based on our voting system (described below). The Grand Prize is a trip to Dallas, Texas to meet with a small group of successful Internet Marketers where they will provide you with a complete business makeover.

The Grand Prize includes: Airfare to Dallas, Texas, two-night's hotel stay, and a dinner with successful Internet Marketing experts. This prize is valued at over $15,000.

The two winners will get to spend a day with these experts, where they will provide a complete business makeover for your business. The goal of this makeover is to provide you with the information and tools you need to take your business to a whole new level.

Other prizes include: Marketing Courses, as well as other marketing materials that will be given away to both voters as well as contestants. There are several courses and materials being given away as part of the MarketingDoOver contest. The values of these prizes range from $39 to $997.

To be able to win one of the Marketing Courses or materials being given away, you must be registered on MarketingDoOver.com as a contestant or a voter.

Only contestants who submit a video are qualified to be considered for one of the two Grand Prizes.

Contestants can submit videos up to two minutes in length. The goal of the video is to provide a compelling reason why they should be chosen as one of the three Grand Prize winners. Click here to become a contestant and learn more.

Both registered voters and contestants can vote on submitted videos. Grand Prize winners will be chosen based on several criteria:

1. Number of votes and final vote score: The total number of votes and the final voting score does not determine the final winner, although they do play a large role in helping us choose our finalists.
   
   As far as how the voting system works, we've kept it simple. Voters and contestants will be able to rate your video a number between 1 and 10. One being the worst, and ten being the best.
   
   
2. Internal voting: At MarketingDoOver, we will have at least 10-people internally sifting through contestant-submitted videos. There are several factors that will be used for internal voting, which will lead to determining the three Grand Prize winners. They are, but not limited to: the most compelling stories, creativity, passion for their business/idea, compelling reason why, presentation, number of video views, number of votes, number of voters referred, number of contestants referred, etc.
   
   
3. Points system: We will be internally tracking the number of views your video has, the number of votes, and how many contestants and voters you referred through your link. (Once you submit your video, you will be provided a link that directs people to your video page after they register as a voter or a contestant.)
